The 12th Annual Black River Watershed Conference will be held on
Wednesday, June 8, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
at the 3 Willows Event Center in Lyons Falls, NY.
The conference is part of an outreach effort of the Black River Watershed Management Plan. The goal is to connect with the decision makers, citizens and other interested agencies that live and work in the watershed, and inform them on issues the watershed is facing, demonstrate the latest research findings, as well as highlight projects that are underway to protect the resource we value so highly.
The Black River Watershed includes over 60 communities in Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, and Oneida counties. Please considering attending to learn some of the local history of the watershed, as well as the recent efforts and policies that are impacting water quality in the Black River Watershed and the Great Lakes.
