“Listen, my children, and you shall hear. Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere.” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 1860

The Paul Revere sign at Revere Copper will be re-lighting event runs from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at 1333 E Dominick St, Rome, NY.

This event kicks of the 2024 Honor America Days celebration month. This event will feature live music, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks display. A private section will be available for Revere employees, retirees, and their families, while ample space will be provided for the public to enjoy the festivities.

Paul Revere is more than our company’s founder – he is an American hero, patriot and Founding Father. His historic ride on the night of April 18, 1775 was instrumental in America’s fight for Independence. The sign has immortalized that event since its installation more than 70 years ago, and when illuminated it is an unmistakable part of the Rome skyline, visible from a great distance.

What better time to relight this iconic sign than on the 4th of July? We hope it will shine brightly for years to come, bringing pride and good feelings for all to enjoy.
