Adam Ezra Group Concert at Unity Hall in Barneveld
New England Music Award’s “Americana Act of the Year” will hold a Tour Concert at Unity Hall at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025.
Unity Hall is over-the-moon and expecting a sell-out performance on Friday, April 25 when the skyrocketing national touring band the Adam Ezra Group (AEG) takes the stage.
About the band
Hailing from Boston, this creative, underground Americana songwriter and his band have captured audiences with their music and built an exploding fan base with their unique grassroots approach to performing. For two decades without a major label or mainstream radio support, Adam (guitar) along with bandmates – Corinna Smith (fiddle), Poche Ponce (Bass), and Alex Martin (Percussion)– have created a massive wave of thousands of diehard fans while maintaining a genuine human connection with their audience.
During the pandemic Adam live-streamed for 500 nights in a row; his band and non-profit organization “RallySound” host a free festival every summer that raised $151,000 for homeless veterans in 2024; he co-produced an album with 163 fans; and takes a month out of each year to perform in living rooms of his fans around the country. For the second year, AEG has created their “Flotation Vacation”, a summer rock cruise with fans – this year they’re headed to Bermuda for five days!
In addition to their thousands of fans, the music world has also taken notice.
Their talents garnered AEG with New England’s Music Award’s “Americana Act of the Year” in 2023. John Oates invited Adam to begin a songwriting friendship that would lead to John producing their latest release and co-written song, “Hold Each Other Now”. The Wallflowers recently invited AEG to join them on their spring tour, and SPIN Magazine proclaimed, “This Independent Underground Folk Band Is Blowing Up Without Selling Out”.
These days, the band is juggling “The Get Folked Tour”, a literal house concert event series wherein Ezra will play in as many living rooms as he can squeeze into his schedule in the name of staying folk; their “Flotation Vacation” to Bermuda; “The Album Project”, which will see the band releasing at least 19 new singles; and their weekly online Tuesday night “Gathering Series.”
AEG is constantly on the road
Plus, AEG is constantly on the road! If you look at their tour schedule, you’ll see them at festivals, rock venues, and theaters around the country and in Europe. But you will also see their tour peppered with activism and grassroots events; a testament to an artist who will never forget where he came from, and whose mission is about much more than music.
