The 9th Annual Amsterdam Tree Lighting Festival begins at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook located at 1 Bridge Street, Amsterdam, NY.
At 4:00 p.m. enjoy FREE horse drawn carriage rides, hats and gloves, hot cider and coffee sponsored by Sticker Mule, hot chocolate and baking goods by the Amsterdam Marching Rams and caroling with Mohawk Valley Chorus. Plus, be one of the first 300 to receive your free kids’ winter jacket sponsored by MVP Health Care. Children must be present to receive a coat while supplies last. The official lighting of our tree and Santa’s arrival will be at 4:30PM sponsored by MERIKA Holding, LLC and Rug City Bar and Lounge.
