Join us for this family friendly event. If you’re busy one day, no worries, we have four dates to choose from! This is an open house event not an all day affair. Stop in to see us and say hi! We will be boiling and have tours of the evaporator room. You’ll get to see syrup be bottled, we will have kids activities, tastings and more!!
About Brower Road Sugarhouse
It all started when I was 5 years old, my Dad tapped a couple of trees by the house. I helped collect the sap and he boiled it down in the kitchen. Yes we made some Maple syrup but all wasn’t good; the wall paper slid down the walls and Dad got you know what from Mom. My Grandfather had about 5000 taps out in the early 1900’s. I partnered with Jake in 2007. We have grown from about 200 taps then to over 3600 taps now.
We are also proud to say we are New York State grown and certified. We also belong to the New York State Maple Producers Association.
NYS Maple Association
The New York State Maple Producers Association (NYSMPA) is a not-for-profit organization composed of the folks who produce maple syrup and related maple products throughout New York State. We are a diverse group of small business people who understand what it means to work hard in the forests, who take pride to practice sustainable wood lot management, so that healthy maple trees will yield their sweet sap year after year.
