NYS Maple Weekend Activities
Join us for this family friendly event. If you’re busy one day, no worries, we have four dates to choose from! This is an open house event not an all day affair. Stop in to see us and say hi! We will be boiling and have tours of the evaporator room. You’ll get to see syrup be bottled, we will have kids activities, tastings and more!!
About Shaw’s Maple Products
Established in 2007, we began making maple syrup after visiting a local high school in the area that was hosting their annual “Maple Weekend”. We wanted to teach our children that you can create a natural and unrefined sweetener that comes from a maple tree right on our property.
We will be hosting our annual pancake breakfast from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. serving local farm fresh eggs, local sausage, bacon and plate sized pancakes.
Sugarhouse is open to watch us boil the maple syrup while you eat. Samples of our syrups and specialty products will be available to taste and purchase in our fully stocked on site store.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy the day and learn the tradition of making pure NYS Maple Syrup.
Admission is free except for purchase of breakfast. Please no dogs.
NYS Maple Association
The New York State Maple Producers Association (NYSMPA) is a not-for-profit organization composed of the folks who produce maple syrup and related maple products throughout New York State. We are a diverse group of small business people who understand what it means to work hard in the forests, who take pride to practice sustainable wood lot management, so that healthy maple trees will yield their sweet sap year after year.
