On Tuesday, August 20 at 4 pm, the Old Forge Library’s free Music in the Gazebo series will feature local musicians Joe Bolton and Mary Brophy-Moore.
The duo will perform fan favorites with a contemporary acoustic set. Joe and Mary first met at an Open Mic Night at the Thendara House in the late 1980s. They both became members of “Lost Souls,” a band that played locally throughout the early 90s. A 2017 reunion of that band brought Joe and Mary back together musically.

It is always a treat when Mary and Joe team up as a duo! Joe is a prolific local musician, whether performing solo, with the band The Thirsty Otters, or hosting Open Mic Night at Tony Harpers. The large lawn area surrounding the library gazebo offers the opportunity to spread out and enjoy this free, family-friendly entertainment.
The Friends of the Old Forge Library used book sale
