Outer Space Craft and Activity Bags For Kids
The Old Forge Library, 220 Crosby Blvd., will have free outer space themed grab bags full of crafts and activities celebrating creativity for kids to work on at home.
The bags will include all the materials and directions needed to create a toilet paper roll space rocket, constellation cards, silly easter egg aliens, astronomy geoboards, origami stars, and popsicle stick stars, along with some activity sheets.
Grab N’ Go bags began as a result of distancing mandates during the height of the Covid pandemic, and have proven to be one of the most popular ways for kids to interact with the library and their family’s schedule.
Kits may be picked up on Friday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or Saturday, February 15 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Activities are geared for ages 4-11. Supplies are limited, so registration is recommended.
