The Remsen Arts Fest features local artists plus high school artists in the art show and sale, live stage entertainment, children’s activities, artists demonstrations, video presentations, and more.

This is a free event hosted by the Remsen Arts Center thanks to our sponsors, members, generous donations from the community, and a CNY Arts Statewide Community Regrants grant.

Tentative Schedule:

Friday May 19 2:00– 6:00pm

• 2:00– 6:00pm: Art Show and Sale inside the arts center. Saturday May 20 10:00am – 6:00pm

• 10:00am– 6:00pm: Art Show and Sale inside the arts center
• 10:00am– 5:00pm: Fun Children’s activities inside & outside the arts center.
• 10:00am – 1:30pm: Video presentations on the main stage featuring music, fine art, and more.
• 12:00 – 5:00pm: Children’s Sidewalk Chalk Art Drawing. Children 12 and under may draw their masterpiece with chalk on our sidewalk.
• 12:30 – 1:30pm: Artist Annette Gurdo painting demonstration held outside weather permitting or under tent.
• 1:30 – 2:30: “Sibling Tunes” Live music by Ethan & Eva Lavallee on violin & piano accompanied by Fiona Peters on piano on the stage.
• 3:00– 3:45: Live music by Donna Mucks Concert on the stage.
• 4:00 – 5:15pm: Live music by Remsen High School Band on the stage.

Sunday May 21 12:00 – 6:00pm

• 12:00– 5:00pm: Art Show and Sale inside the arts center.
• 12:00 – 4:00pm: Fun Children’s activities inside & outside the arts center.
• 12:00 – 4:00pm: Video presentations on the main stage featuring music, fine art, and more.
• 12:00 – 4:00pm: Children’s Sidewalk Chalk Art Drawing. Children 12 and under may draw their masterpiece with chalk on our sidewalk.
• 1:00 – 2:00pm: Create a work of art with artist Sue Costanza interactive collage demonstration for kids and adults in the rear room.
• 2:00 – 3:00pm: Live music by Dan Evans on piano.
• 5:30pm: Live music by Remsen Community Band and Choir on the stage.
