Meet Our Rising Star: Isabel Chen
Selected for her extraordinary artistry and musical maturity, violinist Isabel Chen will take center stage, performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 in G. Isabel studies under Robin Scott at the Eastman School of Music and is completing her Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance. Prior to attending Eastman, Isabel studied violin and piano at the Music Institute of Chicago and was later a Scholarship Fellow at its Academy program, where she fully devoted herself towards violin.
A Program of Elegance and Discovery
Alongside Mozart’s masterful concerto, the program includes:
World Premiere – A newly orchestrated suite from Joseph Bologne’s opera L’Amant Anonyme, crafted from the original manuscript by Artistic Director Maciej Żółtowski.
Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 – A youthful yet sophisticated work composed when Mozart was just 18 years old.
