 🩸\nRequests from hospitals exceed the available supply of blood\, drawi
 ng down the blood supply by about 35% over the past month This crisis is b
 eing intensified by one of the worst flu seasons in nearly 20 years\, whic
 h has reduced donor participation\, along with intense winter weather that
  has disrupted more than 400 blood drives and delayed blood deliveries.  
 Without immediate action\, patients who rely on transfusions — including
  trauma victims\, mothers during childbirth\, cancer patients\, and indivi
 duals living with sickle cell disease — may face dangerous delays in lif
 esaving care. Donors are needed NOW to stabilize the blood supply and ensu
 re hospitals nationwide can continue providing essential care to those in
