Take a Bite of Montgomery Offers Great Promotions at Businesses County-wide

Restaurant Week Being Held April 24 through April 28

(FONDA, NY) – Indulge in the unique flavors of Montgomery County, whether it’s the perfect pizza, mouthwatering tacos, or irresistible Italian soda. Prepare to satisfy your cravings as “Take a Bite of Montgomery” kicks off next week, inviting visitors from near and far to support the array of restaurants, bakeries, and local establishments that give our community its distinct charm.

Sponsored by Visit Montgomery County, the County’s tourism initiative, “Take a Bite of Montgomery” is a campaign promoting local eateries and encouraging people to enjoy the wide range of dining experiences offered locally.

“Our communities boast numerous one-of-a-kind establishments cherished by locals and highly recommended for visitors,” said Montgomery County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort. “As we launch restaurant week, we’re thrilled to spotlight the richness of our county and the exceptional experiences it holds.”

“The opportunity to showcase our diverse culinary scene, picturesque sights, and inviting atmosphere is truly exciting. We believe that the more individuals immerse themselves in our food, culture, and ambiance, the more they’ll be drawn to return,” he continued.

Visit restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and more, during Take a Bite of Montgomery

From April 24 through April 28, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and other establishments will be offering exclusive deals, special meals and other promotions to customers. Many of the businesses will be offering specials at $15 or $25 price points. Visit Montgomery County will be highlighting menu options, deals and a behind-the-scenes look at some of the participating establishments on its social media, using the hashtag #TakeaBiteofMontgomery.

Patrons are encouraged to take photos at participating businesses using the same hashtag for the chance to win a prize. Post your photos in the Facebook event page or email your food pictures to tourism@co.montgomery.ny.us to enter.
