Amsterdam, NY: The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing & Recreation Department presents Wishfest sponsored by Montgomery County NY and Kinowski Insurance Agency on Saturday, October 7^th  
from 11AM-8PM on Bridge Street.

Ray Gawlak event organizer said “Wishfest is about the community coming together to make a difference!”

WishFest is a community music festival that started six years ago with a mission to make a difference in the community. It has grown into a major fundraiser for Capital Region Giving Tree. The money they raise will be distributed to several organizations specially selected by local children. You can find

Amsterdam Mayor Mike Cinquanti said “Wishfest combines an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause and enjoy a wonderful community festival on Amsterdam’s Southside. That’s a perfect combination for our
city’s big-hearted, fun-loving residents.”

Enjoy live music by Ally the Piper, and The Margo Macero Band. Plenty of food & drink, activities for all ages, ending with a spectacular fireworks celebration at dusk!

FREE PARKING is available at 25 Bridge St. (off Route 30, just off Exit 27 of the New York State Thruway), a very short, scenic walk from the event. (Golf Cart accommodation will be made for those needing assistance.)
