We love the Mohawk Valley!

If you love the outdoors and beautiful scenery, you’ve come to the right place. The Mohawk Valley Region, located along the Mohawk River in the ancestral lands of the Kanienʼkehá:ka’ (Mohawk) and Oneida, is nestled between the Catskills and the Adirondacks. People from all over the world have flocked to this area to explore the history, enjoy hiking, cycling along the historic Erie Canal, along with boating on the Mohawk River and Erie Canal. Along the way, you’ll find wonderful towns and villages while discovering the historical significance of the Mohawk Valley.

What we do

At Mohawk Valley Today, we support the residents, municipalities, farmers and producers, organizations, and visitors by getting the word out about programs, services, and events happening throughout the Mohawk Valley region.

Why we do what we do

Mohawk Valley Today is the result of our love for this area and are happy to share the many opportunities available in the communities throughout the region. We hope to educate Mohawk Valley residents and visitors about the region’s

  • Communities and shared history
  • Local events that have become integral to Mohawk Valley’s ongoing story,
  • Resources available that highlight local safety, seasonal best practices, and recreational activities,
  • Thriving local agricultural community and how we can all support our farmers and producers.
