Broadalbin Garden Tour

The Broadalbin Garden Tour takes place on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Fulton County Broadalbin Library located at 10A Main Street, Broadalbin, Fulton County, NY.

All proceeds will benefit the Broadalbin Library, a private, non-profit library run by volunteers and open to the public. The tour is self guided.

Visit Gardens in Broadalbin

Sign in for the tour will take place between 10:00 am-noon at the Broadalbin Library 10A N. Main Street Broadalbin, NY 12025. The day of the event you will be provided with the locations of the gardens that will be on the tour. Homeowners will be onsite and available to share their gardens with you and answer questions.

Special Guest

Special guest: Sandy Nellis Lane edited and compiled “The Trail of the Wild Flowers, Part I & Part 2” by Lucy Ladd Stratton. Upon her death in 1936 at the age of 102, 1568 of Lucy Ladd Stratton’s watercolor and gouache wild flower paintings were given to the Library of Congress. Sandy photographed many of her great, great aunt’s paintings to insert almost 300 into Lucy’s prose and after 18 years of traveling and editing has published these two books. Sandy will be selling and signing this 2 volume set from the Historic Hotel Broadalbin, one of the garden sites on the tour. Other unique sites will be part of the tour.

Cost and Registration

Tour is $25 per participant. Cash and checks are accepted.

Event will be limited to 200 guests. Pre-registration is recommended.
