EmpowHERing Designs to Host from 4 to 6 p.m.

GLOVERSVILLE, NY –Jennifer Donovan, the Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist (GDDS) at Fulton County Center for Regional Growth (CRG) is pleased to announce the next free business networking event, “Gloversville Business Break,” will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at EmpowHERing Designs, 47 S. Main St., Gloversville. Coffee and light refreshments will be available.

“April’s event is being held in the late afternoon/early evening as some businesses cannot participate in the morning networking events and all businesses should have the opportunity to connect with other professionals,” Donovan said. “EmpowHERing Designs is hosting and wants to also show off their new space as they have expanded and moved next door to their old shop.” The new location is 47 S. Main St.

While this event is geared towards Downtown Gloversville businesses and organizations, any business is welcome to attend and network.

February’s event was held at 44 Lakes Customized Décor & Gifts, 15 N. Main St., and the Business Break was held at Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main St., in March.

“The idea is to have a monthly coffee break for businesspeople to meet other members of the business community, network, and visit a business that they may not have been in yet,” said Donovan said. “Thank you to Karen Curry and Brandie Loucks of EmpowHERing Designs for hosting April’s location.”
