GLOVERSVILLE, NY – The Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist (GDDS) Office at Fulton County Center for Regional Growth (CRG) is pleased to announce there will be a new and free networking event for Downtown Gloversville businesses that is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 7^th, from 8 to 9 a.m. at 44 Lakes Customized Gifts and Décor, 15 N. Main St., Gloversville.

“The idea is to have a monthly business coffee break by meeting other members of the business community, networking, and visiting a business that you may not have been in yet,” said Jennifer Donovan. “The owners of 44 Lakes Customized Gifts and Décor Coffee will be providing coffee and refreshments.”

Each month the free event will rotate to other businesses and organizations so participants can tour the facility and have an opportunity to shop or purchase a gift certificate.

Times can rotate each month, depending on what everyone’s work schedules allow. While this event is geared towards Downtown Gloversville businesses and organizations, any business is welcome to come and network.

Donovan said she will also have copies of a survey available for small business owners to fill out. “I am involved in a state downtown managers group, and we are meeting in Syracuse in March. The discussion will include the needs of downtown businesses and organizations. This survey will only take a few minutes to complete, and I will bring the results with me to this important meeting in March.
