Juneteenth events at the National Baseball Hall of Fame takes place all day on Monday, June 19, 2023 in Cooperstown, NY.

Boston Braves scout Dewey Griggs signed Hank Aaron to a contract on June 14th in 1952. The Mobile, Ala., native debuted in 1954 – the Braves’ second season in Milwaukee – and went on to play 23 years with 755 home runs and an all-time record of 2,297 RBI. (National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum)
