We are looking for ALL jobs and positions for the theatre including Actors, Stage Management, Lighting, Costuming, Props, Scenic design & build.

Get in on the GROUND FLOOR and help us create a BRAND NEW COMPANY! SEE YOU AT THE THEATRE!

The Black Bear Players announce auditions for their first production, Almost, Maine on Monday and Tuesday, March 25th and 26th at 6:00pm.  The auditions will be held in Gould Hall at View Arts Center.  Almost, Maine, written by John Cariani, is a collection of nine vignettes which explore the romantic ups and downs of a variety of characters in various scenarios in a town that’s so far north, it’s almost in Canada!

Dip your toe into the waters of the theatre and be part of the action during our two upcoming “Acting Out” Events!

We’re hosting two evenings of fun activities where we’ll meet & mingle with light snacks and beverages, share our vision for the company, play some Theatre games (you can watch if you don’t want to play!) and answer any questions you may have.  We also want to hear your ideas about how we can make this company a true asset to the community!
