Pandemic Therapy, the acoustic duo of Rick Kincaid and Terry Schwaner, will perform at the Old Forge Library, 220 Crosby Blvd., on Tuesday, November 7 starting at 5:30 pm.
Rick Kincaid and Terry Schwaner began playing folk songs together in Rick’s basement, during the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Rick, a lifelong resident of the Barneveld and Holland Patent area, is the original organizer of the locally well-known group, Rattlin Bog. Terry settled in Barneveld in 2012. Both are retired, Rick from counseling, and Terry from research, teaching and academic administration. They regularly perform at Unity Hall Open Mics in Barneveld, and are local favorites at the Park Coffeehouse in Holland Patent. They also play at local church socials and community events. Their songs span classic folk and country of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as contemporary music, with a few pop songs. Two old guys who love to play and sing for live audiences, with a motto of “so many songs, so little time” drives their passion.
Music will include folk, country and contemporary songs with accompaniment of guitar, banjo, and melodica. The event is free and open to the public.
