Local Foods Local Spirits

The Local Foods Local Spirits party starts at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Cooperstown Farmers Market located at 101 Main St, in Pioneer Alley, Cooperstown, NY.

Cooperstown Farmer's MarketOtsego 2000 will showcase the bounty of the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market and the talent of area chefs at the Local Foods Local Spirits party on Sunday, October 13 from 5 pm – 7 pm.

This fundraiser for the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market showcases a dozen chefs who will be creating savory and sweet tapas-style tasting bites made with local produce, meat, cheese, honey, and maple syrup from the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market.

A Dozen Local Chefs

Chefs participating include:

  • Nawang Gurung from Norbu
  • Brian Wrubleski from Mel’s at 22
  • Dana Leonard Sanders from Origins Café
  • Michelle Iannelli-Rubin from Social Eats Café
  • Jeneé Rasmussen from Crumhorn Coffee House
  • Norm Phenix from 204 Main
  • Anthony Leberto from Brimstone Bakery
  • Q Khashaei from The Empire House
  • Julio Rubio from the Lake House Restaurant

Two chefs are also Market vendors:

  • Chloe Ford of Chloe’s Bakeshop
  • Jesse Pascale from Rock Hill Farm

And, the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market Manager, Alex Webster, will participate as well. He ran several local restaurants and now operates Alex’s World Picnic.

Last year’s event sold out in advance, so get your tickets today. You can buy them online, by calling Otsego 2000, 607/547-8881, or in person on weekdays at Otsego 2000 or on Saturdays at the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market.
