About the Fair

Every summer, the Schoharie County Sunshine Fair comes to Cobleskill, NY, located in Upstate New York’s Mohawk Valley. The Sunshine Fair began in 1876 at its current site, and continues to maintain its important agricultural roots. At this time, the fair was organized by the Cobleskill Agricultural Society with the first fair set for September of that year and has continued through to today.

What to Expect

Checking what’s happening each day is easy! The full daily schedule is online so you can plan your day and prepare for the fun to be had along with a map of the fairgrounds.

Local agriculture continues to be at the center of the fair with Livestock and other competitions through the week including beef, poultry, dairy, draft horse shows, sheep, along with demonstrations and exhibits, and so much more.
