“I’m drawn to what’s underneath the surface—what we carry, what we avoid, what we hope for. I’m chasing what’s real. Not polished. Not perfect. Just honest,” Johnson-Neuland reflects on his artistic process. “In the end, I’m not trying to explain anything. I’m trying to connect—offering something people can feel, reflect on, or simply sit with.”
The exhibition title “Petals, Politics and Parables” captures the essence of Johnson-Neuland’s diverse artistic exploration—from the delicate beauty of nature to the complex realities of contemporary society and the timeless stories that connect us all.
