The Art Thing (TAT) Collaborative Inc. is a social arts nonprofit founded in July 2024 by artists Nick Stag and Carly Proulx. Their mission is simple and powerful: Bring people together by bringing art to the people. Their motto: “Art for everyone, everywhere.”
TAT creates participatory, community-driven art experiences that are accessible to all ages and abilities — especially those who don’t see themselves as “artsy.”Everything they do is meant to spark connection, celebrate local stories, and turn everyday places into shared creative experiences. The Art Thing Collaborative travels from town to town. They have complete art projects in Little Falls, Utica, Herkimer and surrounding areas.
