Energy & Wellness Expo
Cornell Cooperative Extension Smart Energy Choices – Mohawk Valley would like to invite the public to attend the free Energy and Wellness Expo on Tuesday, August 26 from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the ARC Herkimer Business Park located at 420 E. German St, Herkimer.
Cornell Cooperative Extension Smart Energy Choices – Mohawk Valley helps residents and businesses in the Mohawk Valley to make informed energy decisions and carry out energy saving projects. We believe in meeting people where they are and moving at the speed of trust to help you make energy decisions.
Several community agencies will be on hand to provide attendees with information about programs they offer – including:
- ARC Herkimer – provides an array of services and programs to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Herkimer County.
- Connected Community Schools – supports students and families with essential resources and services, aiming to support students’ success in school, at home, and within the community.
- Herkimer County Health Department – protects and promotes the health of Herkimer residents by providing a wide range of services and programs.
- Herkimer Working Solutions – provides free job search assistance, career development and educational resources to job seekers and businesses in Herkimer County.
- Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) – empowers people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
- RISE Recovery Community Outreach Center – offers free support and resources for individuals and families affected by addiction.
This is a great event to learn how to bring energy savings into your home and ways to cultivate a healthier lifestyle for yourself and your family.
