Opening Reception for Contrapposto by Benjamin Entner

4 Elements Studio is pleased to present Contrapposto, a new exhibition by sculptor Benjamin Entner, opening with a free public reception on Friday, September 5 from 5:00 -7:00 PM at The Westwood in Downtown Utica.

Guests will enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to meet the artist, who will be present to discuss his work. The exhibition will remain on view through October 24, 2025.

In Contrapposto, Entner presents a series of three-dimensional collages that merge classical statuary with marine invertebrates and other organic forms. These works collide nostalgia and history with humor, scale, and unexpected juxtapositions. Inspired by his love of Classical and Renaissance history, Entner’s new series invites viewers into a world that feels at once alluring, nostalgic, and otherworldly. His goal: to spark childlike wonder within the gravitas of the art space.
