Visit the MVT Instant Photo Booth at the Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival!
We’re back and we are stoked! Last year, at the Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival, the Mohawk Valley Today team debuted our MVT Instant Photo Booth for visitors to the much-anticipated festival. We provided agriculture-themed props and each group of visitors posed for a fun, one-of-a-kind instant film photograph to commemorate their time at the at the Garlic and Herb Festival. That’s right, we’re talking old school film, polaroid-style photos. Once you take the photo, that’s the only one like it in the world! At MVT, we absolutely love photography and it is such a huge part of our organization, so it only felt right to use our skills to give back to the community that we love to serve.
A fun new twist!
This year we’re going to be back at the festival with even more cool new props! Last year, our wonderful friends at The Art Thing (TAT) created a wonderful Faerie Garlic Tale from using visitor input and imagination, and presented it to the Garlic King at the end of the day. Inspired by the MVT Photo Booth, TAT proposed a collaboration with MVT & the instant photos to provide even more magic to the day.
When you visit the Mohawk Valley Today Instant Photo Booth this year, in addition to our agriculture-themed props, you will also find special photo props designed by The Art Thing (TAT)! The props from TAT will include images that align with their fantastical Faerie Garlic Tale from last year. Once you have your instant photo from MVT, we encourage you to go to The Art Thing booth to get a free Faerie Garlic frame to go along with it!
Community fun & collaboration
We are thrilled to collaborate with our good friends at The Art Thing (TAT) this year to inspire more garlicky fun! Last year’s Faerie Garlic Tale was a fun and totally unique creation that used community input and everyone’s imagination to create a new garlic tale! What could be better than a project created by a whole community? We love working with The Art Thing Collab (TAT) and we can’t wait to do it again at this year’s Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival.
