Saturday, October 18th, 2025. Doors Open at 6:00 pm

Join us as we welcome Mezzo Soprano, Joelle Lachance and piano accompanist William Shi, to captivate the audience with her original performance: Guys or Dolls, in our Original (Night Watch) Gallery.

Enjoy the Museum galleries and some Prosecco before the concert! Then, join us in the Night Watch gallery, for a solo performance of Guys or Dolls with Lachance performing both male and female rolls.

This is a ticketed event with limited seating at $40/ one or $75/ two.

Joelle Lachance

Joelle Lachance is heralded as a “thrilling, powerful voice with a melting pianissimo” (Boston Musical Intelligencer), Joelle was the winner in the Finger lakes NATS 2022 competition, a finalist in the 2018 Barn Opera Vocal Competition, and a winner of the 2012 Rising Stars Competition at Nazareth College. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in New York Lyric Opera’s Night of Music in November 2019. Her concert repertoire includes solos in Schubert’s Mass in A- Flat Major, Handel’s Messiah, and the Missa Luba. Masterclasses include programs with Susan Ashbaker, David Aronson, Julianna Gondek, and Laura Brooks Rice. Joelle attends the Eastman School of Music where she is studying with Katherine Ciesinski. Most recently, she performed in the ensembles of Candide and Roméo et Juliette with the Glimmerglass Festival in 2023.

William Shi

William Shi, piano accompanist. Australian pianist William Shi has earned first prizes at the Petrof, Vivace, Yamaha, and Queensland Piano Competitions, as well as awards from the Theme & Variations Foundation, the American Australian Association, and the Australian Music Foundation, where he was the inaugural winner of the Richard Bonynge Award for collaborative pianists. His performances have been broadcast on Performance Today, WCRB, and WXXI Classical, with critics praising his “crisp and clean extended solos” and “precise coordination.”

Shi has collaborated with principals of major orchestras including the Detroit, Los Angeles, North Carolina, and Rochester Philharmonics, appearing internationally at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Ozawa Hall, Brahmshaus, and the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. A sought-after partner, he has worked with distinguished artists including Dawn Upshaw, Renée Fleming, Maxim Vengerov, and Martin Katz. A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Shi currently serves as Lecturer of Collaborative Piano at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Admission to the Regional Art Galleries is free.

Museum admission is free for members, active-duty military and children under 11;
$10 adults, $7.50 seniors & students.

The building has Off-Street Parking available and is Wheelchair Accessible.
The Museum, Regional Art Galleries, and Library are open Tue – Fri: 10 am -5 pm, Sat & Sun: 12-5 pm. The Regional Art Galleries and Library remain open until 6 pm on Wednesdays.
