Blood Drives in Herkimer, Little Falls and Mohawk This Week

This week we have three different locations where you can donate blood–Herkimer at the Frank Basloe Library, Little Falls at Holy Family Parish and Mohawk at the American Legion. All three drives give area residents in nearby opportunities to give the gift of life-saving blood.

Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. – American Red Cross
