Herkimer County Community College to Hold SUNY Reconnect Information Session

The Virtual SUNY Reconnect Information Session will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.

What to expect

The information session will cover qualifications, eligible degree programs, support services for adults, and the application and financial aid processes. A link to join the session will be sent via email to those who register ahead.

About SUNY Reconnect

SUNY Reconnect is designed for New York State residents aged 25-55 who have not earned a college degree. Qualifying students can enroll full-time or part-time in select associate degree programs aligned with workforce needs. The program covers the cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies after financial aid is applied.

Degree programs eligible for SUNY Reconnect funding at Herkimer County Community College include:

• Computer and Network Security A.A.S
• Computer Science A.S.
• Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics A.S. (also offered entirely online)
• Electrical Technology A.A.S.
• Engineering Science A.S.
• Health Professions A.S.
• Physical Therapist Assistant A.A.S
• Quality Assurance-Science A.S. (also offered entirely online)
