Cabin Fever Bingo and Potluck at the Old Forge Library
The Old Forge Library, located at 220 Crosby Boulevard, invites community members of all ages to join in its monthly free Cabin Fever Bingo and Potluck series, beginning Tuesday, January 27, at 5 pm.
This event is the first in a series of four gatherings scheduled throughout the cold weather months.
Designed as a fun, all-ages get-together, the Cabin Fever Bingo and Potluck series offers a lively way to beat cabin fever, connect with neighbors, and enjoy time together during the winter and early spring. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to attend, with additional dates planned for February 24, March 31, and April 28.
Participants will enjoy classic bingo games with plenty of chances to w.in donated prizes.
The library will be borrowing a bingo machine to add to the excitement and hopes to welcome a special guest to call bingo at one or more of the events. Alongside the games, attendees are invited to enjoy a casual and cheerful community potluck dinner.
The library will provide a large pot of food, along with beverages, plates, and all necessary serving supplies. Guests who are able and would like to contribute are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share, helping to make the evening even more festive.
To register for the event or to sign up to bring a dish, please call the library at 315-369-6008 or email oldforge@midyork.org. Community members may also stop by the library in person to add their name to the sign-up sheet at the front counter. While visiting, guests are invited to browse for a book or DVD and add a piece or two to the community puzzle.
The Old Forge Library looks forward to welcoming families and neighbors for this new series of fun social evenings filled with games, prizes, laughter, and good company.
