Material Conversations: Judith Plotner and Dawn Bisio
The second exhibition at the Glove Cities Gallery will be Material Conversations, a textile art exhibition featuring works by Dawn Bisio and Judith Plotner.
Bisio’s “FACE FORWARD: The People of Gloversville” series is a Community Arts Project made possible by Saratoga Arts through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
Using a combination of painting, printing and stitching Judith Plotner creates fiber collages evoking her experience of living in New York city, created while currently living off grid in Bleecker New York.
The opening reception is free and open to the public on Thursday, March 12 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
