GRANT GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION

FONDA, N.Y.— Home to a wealth of historic sites, outdoor recreation opportunities and other tourist destinations, Montgomery County continues to market itself as a place for people to explore.

Efforts to attract more people to the county’s communities will now be getting a boost through the 2026 Montgomery County Local Tourism Grant Program, announced today by Montgomery County Executive Pete Vroman.

“The Local Tourism Grant Program is a great way to assist organizations with beautifying their downtowns and improving amenities which boost access to outdoor recreation and attract visitors,” Vroman said. “We look forward to seeing the applications and helping to make improvements throughout our county.”

The Montgomery County Local Tourism Grant Program is funded by the County’s Hotel Occupancy Tax and is administered by the County Executive’s Office.

Use of grants provided through the program is restricted and funding may not be used solely to serve residents. The Local Tourism Grant Program is open to all non-profit and for-profit organizations, clubs, individuals, groups, individual businesses and business consortiums in Montgomery County.
