Amsterdam City Pool Opens Today at 11 a.m.

Amsterdam, NY – The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing & Recreation Department are excited to announce that the City of Amsterdam swimming pool located at Veterans Park will open for the season today, Monday, July 1st.

The cost of admission to the pool will be $1 for all entrants regardless of whether they are swimming or not. The pool is open seven days a week from 11am until 5pm. Children under the age of ten will not be allowed to enter the facility without accompaniment from an adult. Also, all swimmers are required to wear a bathing suit, athletic shorts will not be allowed.
