Ever wonder how honey is made?

Bees bring nectar from area flowers back to their hive. The design of the honeycomb, combined with the constant fanning of bees’ wings, causes the liquid in the nectar to evaporate leaving the sticky deliciousness we enjoy. A honey’s flavor and color can vary depending on the nectar the bees collect. Sunny Hunny Farms’ focus is on the overall health and vitality of their bees, purposefully planting flowers that attract bees and that are also a bit unusual, creating a unique and delicious honey.

Sunny Hunny Farms’ honey products include their popular raw and infused honeys, available at their farm store on Robb Road and also at the Gloversville Farmers Market, held on Saturdays at St Thomas Square from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
