Common Burial Ground Monument Dedication Ceremony
SATURDAY, JUNE 6 — 11:00 AM Common Burial Ground Monument Dedication Ceremony at the Church Street Cemetery, West Monroe Street, Little Falls
This is an open invitation, and all are welcome. We’re looking forward to having you join us!
Little Falls native Richard Synenki has generously funded the creation of a modest, yet impressive monument honoring the at least 350 individuals—likely many more—buried in the Common Burial Ground section of Church Street Cemetery. Only a small number of gravestones remain in this historic area, making this dedication an important moment of remembrance and recognition.
Proposed Speaker Order for the Church Street Public Burial Ground Memorial Dedication:
• Deborah Kaufman, Mayor of Little Falls
• Jeffrey Gressler & David Krutz, Little Falls Historical Society
• Richard Synenki, Event Organizer
• Reverend Jeff Frank
• Unveiling of the Monument
Additional Details:
• Water will be available.
• There are no bathroom facilities on-site.
• Guests are welcome to bring a chair for comfort.
