Faith Formation Registration Fair at Holy Family Parish in Little Falls

Holy Family Parish in Little Falls is holding a registration event for Faith Formation for children in grades first through tenth. In-person registration will take place on June 24, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at their parish office on 763 E. Main St. Classes will begin on October 6th.

The classes include:

• 1st Grade: An Introduction to the Catholic Faith, meeting one Sunday per month at 11:15 a.m., following the 10 a.m. Mass.
• 2nd Grade: Preparation for First Communion and Reconciliation, meeting twice per month on Wednesdays at 3:15 p.m.
• Grades third through sixth: The Great Adventure Bible Class, meeting twice per month on Tuesdays at 3:15 p.m.
• Grades seventh through tenth: Preparation for Confirmation, meeting the First Saturday of each month at 10 a.m.
• Registration fees: $20 for the 1st-grade class and $40 for all others

Faith Formation Coordinator: Bridget Altner

Bridget Altner is the faith formation coordinator for Holy Family Parish. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a double major in Education and English. She continued her education at Molloy College, where she received a master’s degree in Special Education. Upon graduation from Franciscan University, she worked in Catholic education and taught kindergarten for five years. She is passionate about sharing the faith with children in particular, and she lives with her husband and three young daughters.

Faith formation students who attend Benton Hall Academy will meet at the school library for dismissal. They will then be escorted and walk to the Holy Family Parish Office across the street. For Little Falls students in 6th grade, school and parish officials are currently working together on busing plans, which are contingent upon the registration numbers. This will be determined and explained at a later date. Their goal is to help families by providing transportation to after-school faith formation classes at no extra cost to the school district or families.
