Halloween Party at the Old Forge Library

The Old Forge Library is getting into the Halloween spirit this year with a full lineup of festive events for all ages.
Known for its creative and community-centered celebrations, the local Halloween season is always something special, and the library is excited to be part of it. See our website for the full calendar of events.
On Friday, October 24, the library will host its Halloween Party from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
Families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of hands-on activities, including a candy apple station, cupcake decorating with eerie accents, a spooky trail mix station to customize a bag of Halloween-themed treats, and mask decorating. Costumes are welcome and encouraged. This event is free and open to all.
This is also a great opportunity to pick up your grab-N-Go craft Halloween Craft bags. These free kits are filled with crafts, activities, and fun surprises for children to enjoy at home. Each bag includes materials to create 3D vampire teeth, a 3D haunted house, a Halloween hole punch activity, and busy pages such as a Halloween word find and color-by-number sheets. Perfect for ages 4 to 11, bags will be available for pickup on Friday, October 24 from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday, October 25 from 10 am to 2 pm, while supplies last. With only 96 kits available, registration is strongly encouraged. To reserve a bag for a child, call 315-369-6008 or email oldforge@midyork.org.
