Montgomery County Clerk’s Passport Night
The Montgomery County Clerk’s Office is excited to announce its first-ever “Passport Night”, an after-hours opportunity for area citizens to apply for their U.S. passports and have passport photos taken, outside of regular business hours.
Passport Night will be held on Tuesday, September 16, from 4 to 6 p.m., by appointment only at the Montgomery County Clerk’s Office in Fonda.
This one-time event is designed to provide convenient access for individuals and families who may find it difficult to visit the Clerk’s Office during standard weekday hours. By offering extended availability, the Clerk’s Office hopes to make passport services more accessible for working adults, students, and busy families.
“Many of our residents have told us they struggle to get to the office during the workday,” said Montgomery County Clerk Brittany Kolbe. “We’re proud to pilot this Passport Night and see how we can better serve our community’s needs.”
Participants will be able to apply for a passport and get their passport photo taken, while having access to trained and certified passport agents.
Those interested must schedule an appointment in advance by contacting the Clerk’s Office at (518) 853-8111. Space is limited—be sure to sign up soon to secure your spot.
While this is currently a one-time event, the Clerk’s Office will consider offering additional Passport Nights in the future based on community interest and participation.
