St Johnsville Memorial Day Events

The Village of St Johnsville will host several Memorial Day events in the village beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025 in the Village of  St. Johnsville, NY.

Memorial Day Veteran Activities include:

7:15 A.M.- Form at Legion to lower flag to Half-Staff
7:30 A.M.- March to Bridge, throw wreath in river with Gun Salute & Taps; on to MRM Library to lay Wreath At Civil War Monument with Gun Salute & Taps
8:45 A.M.- Form at Legion, march to Nursing Home to assemble for parade or be at Nursing Home by 9:00 A.M.
9:30 A.M.- Parade begins, march to Soldiers & Sailors Park for ceremonies

Park Ceremony to include speeches, patriotic songs, Roll Call of Fallen Veterans with Chime, 21 Gun Salute, and Echo Taps by the OESJ band.

All Veterans and Active Duty military are invited to participate in any or all of the above. Rides will be provided for those who can’t march.
