The Old Forge Library, located at 220 Crosby Blvd., is excited to announce its participation in the Great Mid York Lego Library Challenge in collaboration with the Mid York Library System.

This fun, creative event will take place from April 17 to April 19 during library open hours, and everyone is invited to take part.

The challenge is simple. Participants of all ages are encouraged to create their own Lego masterpieces inspired by their favorite books or a beloved library space. Build solo, collaborate with a team, or bring a pre-made creation. All entries must be book or library-themed.

To participate by dropping into the Old Forge Library during open hours between April 17 and April 19, and build your own Lego creation inspired by a book or library space.

You can bring a pre-built entry or create something on-site. All entries will be photographed and submitted for judging. The challenge pits Old Forge against 43 other libraries across the Mid York system, with prizes for the best Lego creations in various categories. Lego bricks will be provided so everyone can join the fun and help Old Forge Library compete for the top prize.

Participation is free, and the event promises to be an enjoyable experience for individuals and families alike. Let your imagination soar, show your library pride, and contribute to Old Forge’s chance to win big!
