Wild Infusion Study Group to discuss Red Clover

The August Session of Wild Infusions Herbal Study, will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 6 pm at the Old Forge Library.
The monthly study group is led by herbalist Jessica Maureen Hinsdill of Wild Solstice, LLC.
This month’s discussion will focus on Red Clover, a flowering plant traditionally recognized for its potential benefits in addressing respiratory conditions, improving bone health, managing menopause symptoms, promoting heart health, and supporting skin health. Participants will discover its traditional and modern uses, learn identification tips, and practice preparation methods while gaining insight into the role of herbs in wellness and community health.
Jessica is an engaging guide for each session, focusing on one native plant a month. The two remaining sessions of this season’s Study Group will concentrate on Echinacea (Tuesday, September 16 at 6 pm) and Yellow Dock (Tuesday, October 14 at 6 pm).
Sessions are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged. Come connect with nature and community—one plant at a time! Call 315-369-6008 or email oldforge@midyork.org with any questions or to reserve a spot.
