Funding Available for Montgomery County Youth Programs

July 31, 2025 – The Montgomery County Youth Bureau is pleased to announce the availability of 2026 Youth Development Program Funding and Youth Sports Funding.  These funds are available through the NYS Office of Children & Family Services Bureau of Youth Development to community-based, non-profit organizations and/or municipal-operated youth programs who provide direct services to Montgomery County youth.

Youth Development Funding is available to eligible programs that provide community-level direct services designed to promote positive youth development for youth under age 21.

Sports Funding is available to support local sports activities and sports education for underserved youth under age 18 promoting physical fitness activities or team sports participation.  These funds are available on a competitive basis and must be used for program expenses incurred between 1/1/26 and 9/30/26.  Contact the Montgomery County Youth Bureau at (518) 853-4355 or email Executive Director, Brenda Rava, at brava@co.montgomery.ny.us with questions or to request an application.
