Mohawk Valley Today’s free community calendar

Our free community calendar is available to everyone living any of the six counties (Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Oneida, Otsego and Schoharie) in the Mohawk Valley region. This means communities, nonprofit organizations, municipalities and farms have an easy way to share the fun with friends and neighbors.

What to do next? 

We’ve made it easy to share your community events. Simply fill out our form and hit submit to send us information on your upcoming event. It’s quick and super easy!

• Use our contact form to send us your events. Folks that use our contact form to send us events get priority. We created this form specifically to make it easy to convert your event submission into an event page.
• Be sure to include photos or links to photos. Photos are an important feature for all events—they show folks what to expect and make things fun! At least one photo or graphic is needed for each event posted. Have a link to a short video of your event? Great! Send the link to us and we can include it on your event page!
• Tell us A LOT about your event! Events that include lots of information, are viewed and shared the most. The more information we have, the better we can share it on our website and social media!
• Send us your event details at least a week in advance. Due to the high volume, same-day or next-day submissions may not get posted.

What do you get?

People in and around the Mohawk Valley really do want to know about the events you have planned! So once you send us your event, here is what you’ll get:

• Your event is added to the Events Calendar – at no cost for FREE. Events are published on pages throughout Mohawk Valley Today for maximum exposure.
• If your event is happening during the week, typically Monday through Friday, then your event will also show up on the Events This Week Page.
• If your event comes up on a weekend, in addition to adding your event to the events calendar, your event will automatically be included on the Featured Weekend Events Page. This is one of the most viewed pages on our website and it goes out on social media, too!
• Can you send us a press release along with your event information? If you do, then we will post your press release as an article on Mohawk Valley Today leading up to your event.
