Mohawk Valley Fiddlers January Meeting
The Mohawk Valley Fiddlers will meet at the Glen Reformed Church on January 20th at 7:00 p.m. The church is located at 1526 NY-161 in the Hamlet of Glen. The Mohawk Valley Fiddlers are a local chapter of the New York State Old Time Fiddlers Association that promotes, preserves and perpetuates the art of old time fiddling.
The Mohawk Valley Fiddlers welcome players of all levels and the public is welcome to observe. For further information call 518-705-1209.
About the The New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Association (NYSOTFA)
The New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Association (NYSOTFA) and the North American Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame and Museum Institute was formed. The New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Association Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. The mission of the New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers’ Association is to preserve, promote and perpetuate the art of old time fiddling and the dances pertaining to this art. Every last full weekend in July the NYSOTFA still holds it’s annual Fiddlers’ Picnic featuring a special guest artist, dancing and individual performances.
