This weekend will be your last chance to visit your local NYS Maple Weekend producers in 2026! This weekend, March 28-29th, is the second, and final weekend for 2026.

Spring time equals Maple Syrup time

Some of us have been waiting all year for this time of year! Not only is spring making its presence known, but also it’s Maple Sugaring Season!

Each year the NYS Maple Producers Association, along with local maple producers, host open house events at local ‘sugar shacks’ across the side. These fun, informative and tasty events invite the public to experience how maple syrup is made. This annual NYS Maple Weekend happens across the state and right here in the Mohawk Valley Valley!

Mohawk Valley Maple Weekend events are happening all across the valley. Local maple producers have invited the public to “open house” style events to see first-hand how the delicious maple syrup we all love so much is made.

Many local events include demonstrations on maple syrup making, tastings, and even horse drawn carriage rides.

There will be opportunities to see the process of how maple syrup is made from tapping the maple trees to the finished syrup for your pancakes!

Maple Weekends are great events for the whole family and local Mohawk Valley Maple Producers have been working hard to get everything ready for your visit! There will be plenty of fresh, locally made maple syrup available for purchase to take home with you.
