Pasture Walk Planned in Remsen – All Beef Producers Welcomed

Whether you raise beef cattle currently, or are interested in learning more, make plans to attend the Friday September 26^th pasture walk at Bardwell Farms located at 10273 Black Hollow Rd. in Remsen.

The pasture walk will begin at 5:30 pm. You won’t want to miss guest speaker, NY state Ag Climate Resiliency Specialist with the CCE Harvest NY Team, Kitty O’Neil, PhD and CCA. It’s an exciting time to be in the beef industry. Additional topics include weed identification and management review, understanding beef markets and discussion on rebuilding the herd. At 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, Josh Rawitch, president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, will headline the Meredith Sport Management Speaker Series in Anderson Theatre at Hartwick College.
