How can people get involved to support their favorite local charities?

Mohawk Valley Gives simplifies giving to their favorite charities with a low barrier of entry with a minimum donation is $5 and every donation counts! The website, GiveMV.org is easy for folks to use and there are hundreds of nonprofit organizations participating in this year’s donation campaign starting September 14-18, 2026!

While viewing the online catalog, donors can add more than one charity to the shopping cart before checking out. This makes it easy for donors to support multiple charities yet only make a one total sum donation. Once the donation is complete, the donor will immediately receive an email receipt for their donations for each charity they supported. All participating organizations are federally recognized charities so all donations are tax deductible.

Mohawk Valley Today is a people-powered, information platform for residents, municipalities, farmers and producers, not-for-profit organizations, and visitors, to learn more about the history, programs, services, and events available throughout the Mohawk Valley in New York. We love what we do and we love to support our community!
