Celebrate Local at Taste of CNY

Are you looking for a way to connect with local vendors and discover products made right here in Central New York?

Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County invites the community to attend the annual Taste of Central New York (CNY) on November 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at North Star Orchards in Westmoreland.

Taste of Central New York brings together local farmers, food producers, artisans, and small businesses to showcase the diverse products created throughout the region. The event provides attendees with an opportunity to meet the people behind the products; sample locally made offerings and support the local businesses that help make Central New York a special place to live and visit.

“Taste of Central New York is a celebration of the people, products, and businesses that make our region unique,” said Mary Beth McEwen, CCE Oneida Executive Director. “We encourage everyone to come out, meet local producers, try something new, and discover what Central New York has to offer.”

This event is a great opportunity for food enthusiasts, families, and anyone interested in supporting local businesses to experience a variety of locally produced foods and products all in one place.

Taste of Central New York is free to attend, and all vendors will offer free tasting samples or interactive product samples. Food trucks including Groovy Goodies, Motely Chew and Catalina’s Spanish Cuisine, will also be on site, giving attendees additional opportunities to enjoy local food while exploring the event. The Ingersoll’s will be providing live music for the event.
