Amsterdam’s Spring Fling Festival

Amsterdam, NY: The City of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing & Recreation Department proudly present Amsterdam’s Spring Fling Festival, sponsored by The Sentinel of Amsterdam, Saturday, May 9th from 11am-5pm on Main Street in Downtown Amsterdam.

As the city’s premier outdoor festival of the year, it offers a variety of activities for families including arts and crafts, vendors, food trucks, free Amusement Park Rides sponsored by St. Mary’s Healthcare, DJ by J&J Entertainment starting at 11am, and Karaoke at 2pm sponsored by Visit Montgomery County NY. This event also provides an excellent opportunity to visit downtown businesses and enjoy the pleasant spring weather.

Mayor Michael Cinquanti stated “Spring Fling is going to be the fun-filled kick-off to what promises to be an entertaining and action-packed spring and summer, full of great outdoor things to do in Amsterdam. Looking forward to great food, great music, fun for the kids, lots of vendors, downtown businesses great friends and great (fingers-crossed) weather!!”
